This Golden Triangle tour package for 6 days is done by a private car starting from
Delhi. You’ll spend first two nights in Delhi which is like entering a portal between
two realms; first, you’ll explore the lanes of Old Delhi on a cycle rickshaw to get a
touch of the city, and then, explore Lutyens's Delhi. Agra, the city of Taj Mahal, the
symbol of love, is the top attraction on the second leg and lastly visiting the city of
Maharaja, Forts, and Palaces, Jaipur, is where your adventure comes to an end before
getting dropped at the Delhi airport for an onward flight.

Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary (Day by Day plan):
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
You’ll arrive at Delhi, the capital city of India at Indira Gandhi
International Airport, the busiest airports in the country and on the
seventh number worldwide, handling almost 68 million passengers
annually.

Your customs and immigration formalities will take approximately an
hour.
You’ll be greeted and met by our representative, just after the baggage
collection, with a flower bouquet and holding the company’s paging-board
with your name on it.
You’ll be transferred to the hotel by a private vehicle accompanied by
the company’s representative.
You’ll be assisted in checking in at the hotel.
You’ll stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 - Delhi sightseeing
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast you will meet your driver and guide and begin with your
sightseeing in New Delhi.
Firstly, you’ll visit Lodhi Gardens, one of the favorite spots for
Delhi’s morning walkers, joggers, and yoga enthusiasts.
Thereafter you’ll visit Humayun’s Tomb, built in 1570, culturally
significant, as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent
and considered a predecessor of Taj Mahal.
Later you’ll continue to Qutab Minar, built at the site of Lal Kot, the
first city of Delhi, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site that marks
the arrival of Islamic rule in India.
Enjoy your lunch at a restaurant of your choice or discuss it with your
city guide.
Post lunch you’ll explore the legacy of British Raj as we drive pass
the British Colonial Buildings viz. President’s House, Parliament House,
India Gate, Raj Path (King’s Way), Janpath (Queen’s Way), government
official bungalows, Connaught Place, and surroundings.
Reach Old Delhi and explore the Old city by walking or through Rickshaw
ride.
You’ll be visiting Gurudwara Sees Ganj (Sikh Temple), Chandni Chowk,
which is home to silversmiths, repair shops, clothiers, spicy street
food vendors and traditional sweetmeat shops.
You’ll explore not just the bazaar, but also the cultural landscape of
Old Delhi, full of smells, sights & sounds, to leave you overwhelmed.
Late evening if you wish visit Akshardham Temple or Stroll through
Dilli Haat (Handicraft Bazaar).
Before returning to the hotel have dinner at a restaurant of your
choice or at the hotel itself.
You’ll stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 3 - Delhi to Agra (3.5 hours drive)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast check-out and drive to your next destination along with
your driver.
You’ll drive to Agra for 3.5 hours in your private vehicle.
Arrive in Agra, the city of Taj Mahal and check-in at your hotel.
Enjoy your Lunch (you can either have it at your hotel or a restaurant
of your choice – our driver will assist you).
Post lunch you’ll be meeting our city guide for the sightseeing tour of
Agra.
Firstly, you’ll visit Agra Fort, bult by three generations of Mughal
Emperors – Akbar built the walls and gates, his grandson Shah Jahan
erected many of the ethereal buildings inside it, and his great-grandson
Aurangzeb built the ramparts.
Later you will be visiting Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), a Mughal
mausoleum located on the western bank of the Yamuna River near the
Yamuna Bridge Railway Station in Agra. The tomb is also known as the
Jewel Box or Baby Taj as it looks like a smaller version of the Taj
Mahal.
After this you can have a sunset view of Taj Mahal from the other side
of the Yamuna River (Mehtab Bagh).
Before returning to the hotel enjoy your dinner at a restaurant of your
choice or at your hotel itself.
Return to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Day 04 - Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri
(4.5 hours drive)
Early morning met by your city guide and driver for a sunrise view of
Taj Mahal.
Later return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast check-out and drive to your next destination along with
your driver.
You’ll drive to Jaipur for 4.5 hours in your private vehicle.
You’ll enroute stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which is popularly known as
the abandoned Capital City (it will take an additional 2 hours for the
visit).
Later resume your drive to Jaipur, known as the Pink City of India.
In time stop for lunch at one of the popular restaurants along the way.
Post lunch, resume the drive to Jaipur, stop again to visit the Abhaneri
Stepwell or Chand Baori, one of the most beautiful and the largest
stepwells in the world.
You’ll arrive in Jaipur by early evening.
Check-in at the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Late evening you’ll visit a local home to learn Indian Cooking and have
dinner at the local home in Jaipur.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay at your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05 - Jaipur sightseeing
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast you’ll be met by your driver and city guide to do the
sightseeing in Jaipur.
Firstly, you’ll visit Amer Fort, traditional fortress of the Kacchawaha
kings is at Amber, a beautiful citadel rich in stories of valor.
Later you are going to visit The Museum at City Palace, which is a royal
residence and former administrative headquarters of the rulers of the
Jaipur state in Rajasthan.
Continue your sightseeing with a visit to the Observatory or Jantar
Matar, is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by the
Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur state. It has the
biggest sundial in the World.
Carry on your sightseeing with the visit of Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), is
a palace in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. Built from red and pink
sandstone, it is on the edge of the and extends to the Zenana, or
women's chambers.
After the morning exploration, enjoy your lunch at a restaurant of your
choice or discuss it with your city guide.
Post lunch continue with your sightseeing of walled city of Jaipur.
You will be shown not only the monuments and palaces of this legendary
wealthy city, but also the temples, crafts and guilds patronised by the
rulers.
Later, you can stroll through the walled city of Jaipur, explore the
spices, sweets, and colorful bazaars.
After completing the sightseeing in the city, return to your hotel by
late evening to relax.
Later tonight your driver will take you out for dinner at the restaurant
of your choice.
Then return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 06 - Jaipur to Delhi (4.5 hours drive)
Today you can wake up at leisure at your hotel.
Then you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE MORNING:
The hot air balloon ride, fly above Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort and Samode
Palace to get a 360-degree view of the Pink City.
Or Bathe the Elephants at Dera Amer along with breakfast.
In time check-out from the hotel and drive to your next destination.
Your driver will drive you to Delhi (4.5hrs) and drop you at the
international/domestic airport to board your flight for onward
destination.
